The W.E. Tour

After quite a "special" September, filled with insane work, family issues and a forced pause - blame it on a terrible flu - I can finally count our blessings, given by the amazing hurricane that I like to call The W.E. Tour.

It all started out in August 31: M arrives in Venice...

Glad you're feeling better.
The W.E premieres are exciting for seeing Ms. M but I doubt I will go out of my way to see the movie. I never saw Filth and Wisdom, although fans have said there are elements of Madonna's life throughout it.
Do you have plans to go to the London premiere?

I saw Filth and Wisdom only when it was released on DVD and I found it a pretty interesting exercise on film-making. Yes, with some auto-biographical elements to it.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend any premiere, but I will surely watch it here in Lisbon! So far, I LOVED the trailer.
Thank u, dear Cait!

Some backround info on the Vogue video..

Update: In an email interview with The Huffington Post, the creator of the video, who goes by the name Rd-EL, says that he was helping a friend clean out the storage unit of a professional dancer. They were instructed to "throw everything out" but when he found a VHS tape labeled "Madonna Vogue Video -- Do Not Delete!" he heeded the warning and took it home with him. Rd-EL says:

"Several years later, in 2005, I watched the tape for the first time. I have shown the footage to some close friends, all Madonna fans, but I never distributed the footage to anyone. It did not feel right to sell it, but it also did not feel right to keep it. All this time I've known that Madonna fans would absolutely love to see this material.

So, I made the video (I'm not a video editor -- as you probably can tell). I've chosen all the scenes that were the happiest. I wanted to show Madonna more human. She looks extremely beautiful when she laughs, especially at her own mistakes. Some other outtakes did not do her justice, so, I just kept them out of the video. Why did I release this video now? I had a few free weeks this summer."

I like the color effect I added, but I mainly did it because the footage is not clear and sharp and is very faded. The added color makes it come back to life. The light flares do the same effect. 'World of Colour' is what I called it [because] Disney World's light flare show is [named that way]."
