Confession #1

Woke up feeling weird. One year ago, I went through one of the most painful experiences ever: the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with went away. One year later, so many things have changed (inside and out), but the wound remains. So I turn to Her. My eternal healer.

A little up and down
And all around
It's all about survival...

I hope you are now on the mend. :) One year passes like nothing when you go through something so difficult.

“Forgiveness means giving up all hope for a better past.”
Jack Kornfield

From one of my favorite writers (and Madonna's too ) Jeanette Winterson amazing book 'Written on the Body':

“You’ll get over it…” It’s the clichés that cause the trouble. To lose someone you love is to alter your life for ever. You don’t get over it because ‘it” is the person you loved. The pain stops, there are new people, but the gap never loses. How could it? The particularness of someone who mattered enough to grieve over is not made anodyne by death. This hole in my heart is in the shape of you and no-one else can fit it. Why would I want them to?”

All the best to you and your's,
-Cait

Oh my God, yes. It's one of those I don't go after that much, but when I hear it... I get shivers. This is a spiritual level.
Thank you!
